Just like the hunger games, the divergent trilogy is set in a dystopian city(chicago) in the future. All people are separeted in 5 different factions (Dauntless,Abnegation, Candor, Erudite and Amity), which define their best qualitities.
Until now Beatrice has been living with her family in abnegation(selflessness), but when Beatrice turns ... she has to take a test to determine the best faction for her. The results of the test reveal a shocking and dangerous truth about her. The Selection is also set in Future America. Only this time people are defined by their cast: From 1 to 8. 1 meaning you`re from a royal family and 8 meaning you don`t have a job and are very poor. There is only 1 way to become a one, by marrying the Prince.
35 girls are selected to come to the palace so the prince can choose who to marry. For America who is a 5 it should have been a dream come true, the only down side was that she had no intention in marrying the Prince. So when she is Selected she thinks she will be home soon, but she couldn`t have been more wrong... |

She can`t wan`t untill she will be "cured". Cured means you will have an operation, after the operation you will not have feelings/emotions anymore. This operation is mandatory as love is illegal.
Lena and here bff Hana go to a few illegal parties and Lena meets a guy. He tells her he`s cured so Lena feels safe around him. However when she realises he isn`t cured she turns her back on him. Untill he saves her. Then they decide to run of into the wilds... |
